Dani Star is an emerging performer and a fine entertainer in and around the City of Greater Sudbury, in Ontario, Canada. His repertoire consists of a great variety of music including country, rock, oldies, blues, alternative.
Bilingual, he writes and sings songs in both French and English. In February of 2007 he competed in an all Ontario french music contest (La Brunante) and was awarded 2nd place for his own compositions. Later that year his french song "Tu n'es pas la seule" won top ten in a Sudbury song contest in support of Child Aid Charity. The song has been put on a compilation album along with other winners such as Paul Dunn, Paul Disalle, Sarah Craig, Marc Serre, Mike O'Brian. The album is being sold across the city in support of charity.
Later in 2007, Dani reached top 50 in the popular television series Canadian Idol, and made several TV appearances on Idol, and ETalk.
He currently resides in Sudbury, and works as a proffesional entertainer at Weddings, Bars, Pubs, Festivals and other functions.
Dani has passion for exciting his audiences; all with the help of good, honest humour and a truthful outlook on life situations.
He has opened shows for notable country singers Jason Blaine and Julian Austin as well as rock shows with the infamous rock and roll outlaw SAB. After seeing SAB, he feels his life will never be the same...This young man wants to get through to you, but most of all he wants to have fun while doing what he loves and inspires on. He's in love with life, and everyone in it...that means you! Watch him light up when he sings and reaches people!
